The speed with which the Camp Nou renovation works are carried out has its drawbacks and also its risks, especially when the work is carried out in an area with as much neighborhood sensitivity as the Les Corts neighborhood. Barcelona City Council has confirmed the news reported by El Periódico and has indicated that it is processing two files for non-compliance with the schedules in the remodeling works at the Spotify Camp Nou. The resolution of these complaints could result in the imposition of two fines of a maximum of 300 euros.
According to municipal sources, on Thursday of last week, September 14, between twelve at night and one in the morning, an inspection was carried out at the works and unauthorized activity was detected.
Previously, in August, work carried out outside the established hours and that could disturb the rest of the neighbors was also detected. For this reason, the Guàrdia Urbana has processed two sanctions that can reach 300 euros each.
The same sources add that the City Council is working with Barça to resolve these breaches, and in the coming days "neighbors will be called to a meeting to make all the clarifications and give all necessary explanations."
Sources from FC Barcelona have explained to La Vanguardia that the club will pay the corresponding fines, that the anomalous situations that have been reported will be corrected and that work will always be done within the established schedules.
