Almería makes the dismissal of Vicente Moreno official

The Almería Sports Union made official this Friday the dismissal of coach Vicente Moreno, who last Wednesday stopped working as a coach after the bad image given by his team in the rout at the Sevilla stadium (5-1), which meant their fifth defeat this season and keeps them bottom with 2 points.

Moreno has been in charge of the red and white team's bench since his hiring last July and leaves office with only seven LaLiga games coached, becoming the coach with the least experience, as first coach, with the Almería first team: five defeats and two defeats.

"The poor results of the team, which only has two points in the classification, where it is bottom, without having won a game in the seven days played, and above all the image that the Almeria team gave at the Sánchez Pizjuán have motivated the decision of the club," the Almería club explained in a brief statement.

The Valencian leaves the Almería bench, where he arrived in the summer from Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia, after having signed early this Friday afternoon the settlement that separates him from the red-and-white entity, with which he had signed for one season with another optional.

The U.D. In his note, Almería thanked "the professionalism and commitment that Vicente Moreno and the members of his coaching staff have shown at all times during his time at Almería."

Without an official substitute yet, the training is being directed by Alberto Lasarte, who last year was in charge of the youth Division of Honor team which he led to compete in the Copa del Rey of the category, in which they lost the final against Real Madrid .

This season, Lasarte directs the subsidiary of the Almeria club, which plays in the Tercera RFEF and with whom he has won one game, at home, and tied the two they have played away. In principle, this Saturday he will be in charge of offering the press conference prior to Sunday's game (2:00 p.m.) against Granada at the Power Horse Stadium.
