The Tsunami judge asks that NATO explain the impact of the El Prat boycott

The judge of the National Court Manuel García-Castellón has called on various bodies, including the European Union Agency for Air Safety (AESA), and NATO to communicate incidents to air traffic both nationally and international for the riots called by Democratic Tsunami (TD) at El Prat airport on October 14, 2019 as a response to the judgment in the process.

The judge continues to carry out investigations to find signs of terrorism regarding the Democratic Tsunami movement, created as a response to the legal case against the pro-independence leaders of the process that ended with a conviction for sedition by the Supreme Court. Last week, the instructor sent the case to the High Court, through a reasoned presentation, to take on the matter, since there are indications against the former president of the Generalitat Carles Puigdemont, currently a member of the European Parliament and therefore before the Supreme Court.

Even so, as stated in a resolution to which La Vanguardia has had access, García-Castellón will continue to exercise diligence to be able to see the extent of TD's actions, including those at El Prat airport. The results obtained will be forwarded to the Criminal Chamber of the High Court.

That day, a French tourist died of a heart attack after leaving the airport. Then, a court in Barcelona refused to open an investigation because it understood that the cause of death was natural.

Now, García-Castellón wants to reopen this issue because he suspects that the riots inside the airport could have caused this heart attack. Among the measures he has put in place, there is that of looking for the family of this person to offer him to represent himself in the case as a victim.

Also, the instructor is demanding reports from the Civil Guard and Emergencies to find out if the dead tourist made any previous calls that day to request medical assistance and if, in view of the riots that were taking place at the airport, the ambulances were able to enter normally.

The magistrate believes that those responsible for TD can be prosecuted for acts of terrorism, for having promoted violent actions in order to achieve the independence of Catalonia from the Spanish State. As explained in this new interlocutory, certain actions, such as the one in Prat, were "apparently planned". In his opinion, the organization urged the mobilized mass to close the accesses and, with that, to block and disable the air control center.

"It is important to emphasize the strategic importance of this objective, and the serious consequences that the success of the intended action could have had for the safety of national and international air traffic", the resolution states.
