Those who do not tune in to Telemadrid have lost track of Santi Acosta (Madrid, 1966) for years, who achieved great popularity 20 years ago with programs such as Salsa rosa and Dolce vita on Telecinco. How did the idea for this special come about? "Our producer, Mandarina, is a neighbor of Gtres, the photo agency of the heart, and when the exclusive came out, I asked its owner how they had achieved it, and the journalistic and detective story seemed fascinating to me". answers Acosta. Based on a small clue from four months earlier, they began to pull the thread until they got the photo of Obregón leaving the hospital with his adopted daughter and biological granddaughter.
The story begins from these images, some exclusive, "and then we reconstruct the skeleton of a debate that crosses the world of the heart, medicine, law and ethics", he points out. "As broad as it is impossible to include in a single night, but we can point out the main ways of what is an intense controversy right now in Spanish society because science and technology have advanced us", reasons Acosta, who anticipates that they will provide some new information "with something that has not been seen or heard", but that is reserved for tonight.
In the program you will be able to follow the complete journey of Ana Obregón "from the time she leaves her house in Madrid to the airport and tries to mislead the journalists by saying she is going to New York" until the final image of her in Miami with his daughter in his arms. The great novelty of the special is from where the story is told.
