A group of Russian hackers has tried to attack the websites of various Spanish institutions "in solidarity" with the farmers' protests in different parts of the country and has managed to block for a few hours those of the parliaments of the Basque Country and Navarra, which have already recovered. normal.
Behind these attacks is the proposed group 'NoName057', which has claimed responsibility for the attacks on its channel on the Telegram messaging network and to which the National Cryptological Center has attributed these actions.
Despite setting numerous objectives, they have only managed to successfully carry out two attacks so far. They have not been able to take down the Basque Government website, against which this Tuesday they launched an attack that was detected and repelled, sources from the regional Executive have reported.
Although they tried in the same way, they could not enter the website of the Regional Assembly of Murcia either. In various messages published on the Telegram instant messaging network, cybercriminals have also urged blocking the pages of the Asturias and Canary Islands parliaments; of the public transport services of Seville, Málaga, Vigo, Alicante or Jerez de la Frontera; and the companies CIMSA and FECSA.
As they claim in one of their messages on social networks, the hackers have proposed these attacks "in solidarity" with the farmers' strikes that, according to them, "demand the authorities not to sponsor the criminal regime" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but rather that "resolve internal problems."
Among them, they say, guarantee "fair prices" for their products and "greater control of imports from countries outside the European Union."

'DDoSia' is a distributed denial of service attack toolkit, developed and used by this pro-Russian nationalist hacktivist group.
They are considered responsible for attacks against European, Ukrainian and North American websites of government agencies, private companies and media outlets. Periodically, the group publishes messages in which they claim ownership of the attacks.
