À Punt will allow viewers to see its film premieres in Spanish and the original version

The Valencian public television À Punt has decided to start a new stage in terms of broadcasting the language of films. Coinciding with the start of the new season (and also the change of regional government), the network will allow viewers "to choose from three languages from their home control when listening to the cinema: in Valencian, in Spanish or in the original version".

In a statement, the chain explained that "the multi-language system option for films will, for the moment, only be active on Friday night billboards, but the chain will gradually incorporate this alternative in future film acquisitions."

It will do so, the same sources explain, gradually because it has to wait to sign the new contracts that allow broadcasting in Spanish and it has to receive the new audio track to incorporate Spanish into the film.

In order to adjust the audio parameters, each television manufacturer uses a different configuration menu but generally it is found in the "Menu", "Audio", "Tools" or "Languages" (depending on the brand) and you have to search the “Audio language” or preferred “audio” option with the catalog of available options.

First movie

On Friday, October 13, viewers will be able to put this system into operation in the first of the two films scheduled on the schedule starting at 10 p.m.: The Founder (2016) by John Lee with Michael Keaton, Linda Cardellini and John Carroll Lynch.
