Les Corts Valencianes will hold the plenary session next Thursday, July 27, to elect the territorial senators of the Valencian Community. By virtue of the electoral results of 28-M, three senators correspond to the PP, to the PSPV, two, and to Compromís, one. Of the six, there is only one clear name: that of the former president of the Generalitat and current president of the socialist parliamentary group, Ximo Puig, whose name was made official on Tuesday by the group's spokesperson, Rebeca Torró.

The socialist union has indicated that "there is no better person to defend the interests of the Valencians in Madrid" and reiterated that the already head of the Consell "will vindicate the interests" of the Valencian Community with the idea that "beyond the

M-30 there is intelligent life". As planned, Puig will reconcile the position with the seat in the regional Parliament, which will allow him to participate in some important debates. It was already he who gave the reply in the plenary session of Carlos Mazón's investiture.

Puig's is the only name that has been announced this morning. The deputy spokesman for the PP Juan Francisco Pérez Llorca has explained that the names of his formation have not yet been decided, something that must be proposed to the management committee and must be ratified by the executive committee or the board of directors, after which it will be communicated on Monday to Les Cortes.

While in Compromís the internal pulse follows. In Initiative insisted these days that the one chosen to repeat in office is the current senator, Carles Mulet. However, the Ombudsman for Compromís, Joan Baldoví, stressed this Tuesday that the coalition has not yet decided the name of the person who will represent them, since they are focused on the general elections on 23-J.

Baldoví has assured that Mulet -with whom he has worked in the Cortes Generales- is a value of the coalition, but has reiterated that it will not be until next week that from Monday a consensual proposal will be adopted between all the formations of Compromís . The other great name that sounds to hold this responsibility is that of the former president of Les Corts, Enric Morera, of Més Compromís.
