The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, appears this Wednesday at noon at the La Moncloa Palace to take stock of this last year and, especially, the first month of the new coalition Executive.
The president's appearance will take place after the last Council of Ministers of the year, in which the Executive is expected to approve the royal decree law with all the measures to face the impact of war and inflation.
In it, as Sánchez already announced in his investiture speech, the VAT reduction for food will be extended until June, from 4% to 0% on basic necessities such as milk, bread, eggs, cheese, legumes, vegetables; and from 10% to 5% in oil and pasta; as well as free public transportation for young people and the unemployed.
