80% of the membership of Junts per Mataró (Maresme) participated in the primaries to renew the local executive. In this process, which was held on February 21 and 22, two candidacies were presented, that of Miquel Solà, who was the winner, and another led by Marc Marin.
The new president of the local group of Junts per Catalunya in Mataró and his candidacy have obtained 56.25% of the votes compared to the candidacy led by Marín, which has obtained 43.75%.
With this, the new local executive, according to the sent press release, will work with the Municipal Group of Junts por Mataró in the City Council, which has three councilors, led by Alfons Canela. It will be formed by Miquel Sola Suris (President). Marc Correa, Rafael Llibre, Mónica Masramon (councillor), Àlex Cañellas, Montserrat Guardiola, Marc Portet, Víctor López Payà, Xavier Font (councillor and regional councilor) and Diana Aldea.
