Despite the strong wind and intermittent rain that brought a very festive atmosphere to the afternoon, hundreds of girls and boys gathered at Turó Park yesterday to celebrate a massive early Halloween party. In recent years, this party has been gaining ground. What started a decade ago as a meeting between a few friends, foreigners willing to keep alive in Barcelona the tradition imported from the Anglo-Saxon countries, has turned into a fun coven in which the costumes of witches and sorcerers, demons and devils abound , skeletons and zombies.
The Turó Park party has been growing and is already a reference date for Halloween in Barcelona that takes place in a neighborhood, that of Sant Gervasi-Galvany, with a strong presence of residents from these countries. But more and more people from Barcelona of origin are joining this party organized by the self-styled Bruixes del Turó Park, in which shops, international schools and consulates are involved, while the porters of some estates, always on the lookout , decorate the entrances and halls with elements characteristic of this day.
