In the midst of the controversy over the pardon for Carles Puigdemont proposed by the PP if the former president agrees to comply with a series of conditions, Ciudadanos has seen the opportunity to distance itself from Alberto Núñez Feijóo's party and try to come out with its own speech in the political struggle.
"Ciudadanos will never be the PP," has categorically stated the president of the party in Catalonia, Carlos Carrizosa, who has broadcast a video on ", he assures.
"The PP has always done the same thing, which is to sell out to Catalan constitutionalism," Carrizosa has shot with a bullet at a time when his party is in very low hours and, after having given up running in the general elections, he only retains representation in the European Parliament and in the Parliament of Catalonia.

Likewise, Carrizosa recalls in the video, recorded at the Ciudadanos headquarters in Barcelona, the relations between the other president that the PP has had, Mariano Rajoy, and his vice president, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, with the Government that Puigdemont presided over "on the eve of the coup", in reference to the unilateral declaration of independence of October 2017.
