Boris Izaguirre and Adela González open a new live stream at La Sexta

Boris Izaguirre and Adela González premiere today in the afternoons of La Sexta with Más vale sábado, their new evening magazine that will last four hours. In what spirit was the program born? "Well, with a spirit of glamberro (fusion of glamor and hooliganism) and of chochoneo (spinning one theme with the other)", its two presenters advance to La Vanguardia after presenting the program as part of the Vitoria Television Festival ( FesTVal).

"The idea is for you to be at home watching a television program that you feel is talking to you but is also involving you; chochoneo is a gathering of friends", affirms Izaguirre. "And comments without imposing, that come out and spring from you, as if you were talking to your brother-in-law", adds González.

Izaguirre emphasizes above all that it is a "live, very direct" program. And he clarifies: "We are saturated with programs that are totally cocooned to follow a script; we are the direct script. This is the key to that glamberism and chochonism”.

On whether roles will be distributed in the program, Izaguirre simply says that "we are a round couple that is fashionable among homosexuals in which everyone is super versatile; the active and passive ended". In other words, "we will share everything", confirms Izaguirre. "The truth is that we don't really know how we're going to do it either because we haven't had time yet," adds a more realistic González with a laugh in a duo interview that makes the chemistry between the two presenters clear.

González, who returns to La Sexta, where he already worked at Más vale tarde between 2014 and 2016, gives more clues about the new space. "The essence of La Sexta will be there. It seems that the projects you have to work on always try to box you in and, when you can get out of it and give you the opportunity to change and mix it with your essence, the result is Más vale sábado ”.

For his part, the director of the chain, César González Antón, explained to FesTVal that the important thing for this project to go well was "finding a partner who was comfortable and we are very happy with the pair we have formed". "Adela returns home and collects many things that we need for this program. And that Boris is with us is to settle a historical debt", said the manager.

The program will have an entertainment block and another current affairs. In the current section, live connections will be made to bring you closer to what is happening on the street. "La Sexta is a channel that revolves around current events, but also entertainment. He has had the ability to make his grill very different formats. We had an empty space and we were very happy to spend it on Saturday, which was one of those rooms that we had to tidy up. We had to give a more brutal turn to what we had done with Más vale tarde in recent years", said Antón.

Every Saturday, various personalities from the world of culture, music, sport, or communication will be invited to talk about their careers and their lives. Today's guests include Toñi Moreno. And among the different sections there will be the weather and a cooking section with recipes to have fun at the weekend.
