The PP spokesman in the Madrid Assembly, Carlos Díaz-Pache, has confirmed that the regional Executive will process the 0.5% reduction in all sections of the IRPF, an electoral promise by Isabel Díaz Ayuso and a request from Vox since the last legislature.
This has been conveyed to journalists at the press conference after the Board of Spokespersons in the Chamber of Vallecas, in which the Vox spokesperson, Rocío Monasterio, has also assured that her group will present a Non-Legal Proposal (PNL) with this proposal in the next plenary session, which will be held on the 14th.
The leader of Vox has stressed that her proposal is retroactive, dated January 1, 2023, so that it will be effective in the next income tax return: a proposal that was debated last term in the Chamber but that the PP overturned. since in December 2021, a half-point reduction in all sections of the Personal Tax (IRPF) was already approved, thanks to the votes in favor of the PP and Vox.
“We need a tax reduction for all families, which can be done and is the responsibility of the Community of Madrid, and thus relieve the pockets of Madrid residents, which has to be a priority,” Monasterio stressed.
Díaz-Pache has assured that they will "study carefully" the proposal that the Rocío Monasterio parliamentary group will present, but has stressed that it is an initiative and an electoral promise by Isabel Díaz Ayuso for this mandate and "it will be done."
