Tabitha Jackson has resigned as director of the Sundance Festival, the most renowned international independent film competition in the world, after two years in office.
The news has emerged this Wednesday after the general director of the Sundance Institute, Joana Vicente, announced it in an act prior to the edition that this festival will hold in London this week, and after which Jackson will officially cease to perform his duties.
"We are grateful to Tabitha and her contributions (...) There is no doubt that she leaves a mark on the organization and on the festival at its most vital," said Vicente, who will lead the festival until a replacement is found. for the position.
At the moment, the reasons that have motivated the resignation of the until now director are unknown.
