Olona temporarily leaves politics and will lead a 'lobby' against gender ideology

"I will return to the Congress of Deputies. But as a representative of the voice of the people (...) Not to give the political battle, but to undertake the ideological one." The former deputy of Vox Macarena Olona has resolved this Friday the unknowns that she herself had been in charge of feeding in recent weeks. And she has done so by announcing that she is temporarily abandoning active politics, thus refusing to participate in the upcoming municipal and regional elections in May.

Although, asked about the possibility of attending the general elections scheduled for the end of 2023, the former Vox deputy has left the door open without linking her future decision to the results that Vox may obtain in the next appointment with the polls for which the The polls are not very positive for him: "If the will of the Spaniards is for him to assume his voice again, representing them in Congress, it will take place as long as, with a great sense of State, my irruption does not put at risk the necessary balance that must be maintain when forming the next Government of Spain", he explained.

Olona understands that it should not contribute to a new fragmentation of the political board at this time. But he warns that his new activity should generate concern among "those who defend a hembrismo that does not represent the majority of Spaniards", in direct reference to the policies of the Ministry of Equality.

Regarding whether he has had contact in recent months with Santiago Abascal or another Vox leader, Olona has clarified that he has not. However, he claims to continue to have a relationship -in a discreet way- with many officials and sympathizers of the formation whom he has asked "not to sacrifice themselves" for publicly supporting it ".

In this way, the professional activity of the former Vox deputy in the coming months will focus on leading, through the Ibero-American Equality Foundation -of which she is president and sole founder-, a popular legislative initiative for the comprehensive protection of Spaniards against to the "criminal" gender ideology.

"It is not a political project," stressed the State lawyer, who will soon visit Spain with her lobby to collect the 500,000 signatures necessary to take the initiative to Congress and personally defend it before the deputies.

"After assessing over the course of these weeks where my path should be headed, the only thing that was clear to me at all times was that I had an immense will to continue serving the Spanish", he pointed out at the beginning of the presentation of his Project.

The lobby that Olona will lead has set gender ideology as its unequivocal objective, "a threat that seeks to create another civilization. We are facing a new ideological colonization," he insisted as the founding argument of his new project.

The foundation, which was born with a patrimony of 10,000 dollars contributed in its entirety by the former Vox deputy herself, will develop "activities that promote the family, life and freedom and equality of men and women, combating gender ideology" in the face of need of "uniting Hispanic people in a single voice against gender ideology".
