Macro-operation of the Treasury for income and payments in black in parcel franchises

The Tax Agency has launched a macro operation against fraud in courier and parcel franchises, which covers fourteen autonomous communities due to the indications of concealment of sales and payments in "B" to workers.

As reported on Tuesday by the Tax Agency in a statement, the inspections began last Wednesday, when 270 officials appeared at 76 premises in 14 autonomous communities, and will continue over the coming months. The operation has been baptized as Columba.

The inspections are based on complaints that have communicated to the Tax Agency several alleged cases of concealment of economic activity and irregular payments to workers, related to billing in cash and dual-use software - whose possession and use has been verified in the first inspections -.

Most of the premises were located in the Valencian Community (18), followed by Catalonia (11), Galicia (10), Madrid (9), Andalusia (6), Castilla y León (5), Aragón (3), Canarias (3), Cantabria (3), Murcia (3), La Rioja (2), Asturias (1), Castilla-La Mancha (1) and Extremadura (1).

The operation has launched more than a hundred inspection checks on 77 companies and 40 individuals and plans to analyze both undeclared activity and irregular payments (in "B") to workers or the use of dual-use computer programs to hide sales.
