Alcaraz - Musetti: Schedule and where today the final of the Hamburg tournament

Carlos Alcaraz will fight this Sunday, July 24, for his fourth title of the year, the fifth of his short but already outstanding career on the circuit, in the final of the ATP 500 tournament in Hamburg, which will face the Italian Lorenzo Musetti, another youngster, in this case of 20 years, with the potential to be a protagonist in tennis in the coming years.

The match between the Murcian and the transalpine will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will be seen on Movistar, both on the channel

It will be the first time that both tennis players face each other in a match on the ATP circuit. In principle, the one from El Palmar, number 6 in the ranking, is the favorite to beat the Italian, who is number 62 in the world. If he won the tournament, Alcaraz would become the fourth racket in the world, just behind his compatriot and idol Rafa Nadal.

Alcaraz has signed a tournament from less to more. He began his career in Hamburg with doubts against the nationalized German Nicola Kuhn, who won the first set. Later he improved against the Serbian Filip Krajinovic and against the Russian Karén Khachanov he played his best game (6-0 and 6-2). In the semifinal he also had no problems against Alex Molcan, whom he defeated in one hour and 35 minutes.

For the Murcian it is the fifth final of the year after winning the tournaments in Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona and Madrid, these last three on clay, where this year he has been practically unbeatable except in Monte Carlo, defeated by Korda, and Roland Garros , eliminated by Alexander Zverev in the quarters.

For his part, Musetti has left the Serbian Lajovic, the Finnish Emil Ruusuvuori, the Spanish Alejandro Davidovich along the way in Hamburg and in the semifinals he beat the Argentine Francisco Cerúndolo (6-3 and 7-6 (3)). The final on German soil is the best result of his career for the Italian, who had only reached the quarter-finals in Rotterdam, Marrakech and Pune this year.
