Mad Cool recommends arriving by public transport and extends the Metro schedule

Madrid, June 26 (EFE).- The organization of the Mad Cool festival, which will be held from July 6 to 8 for the first time in Villaverde, recommends that attendees opt for public transport to get to their venue , on Laguna Dalga street; for which the Metro and bus service will be reinforced and expanded, while taxi and VTC points will be offered.

This is the first time that Mad Cool will take place in Villaverde, on land that aims to consolidate itself as "the new Madrid festival site", through a project promoted by the festival itself and the Madrid City Council, to "join forces and work on the creation” of a new meeting point, which is “a cultural, social and transformation space for the city”.

And they defend in a statement that this new location will be "more accessible" for festival attendees, thanks to the extensive public transport network, thus facilitating "responsible and sustainable mobility".

To reduce traffic jams and parking problems, they recommend using public transport, for which special schedules have been established, such as the opening of Metro line 3 until 4:00 in the morning, and extensions on various public transport lines to Facilitate arrival and departure from the venue.

On the other hand, those who go by bus can use the daytime lines 22 (from Legazpi to Villaverde, from 5:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.), 79 (with the same route from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.), N14 (from Cibeles to Villaverde Alto, from 11:40 p.m. to 5:50 a.m.), and the 428 (from Getafe to Valdemoro, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.).

They can also opt for the T41 line, which will connect Villaverde Alto with the La Resina Industrial Estate, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

On the other hand, there will be a free shuttle bus service to return from the festival, available from 1:00 a.m. to 3:30 a.m., with a route that goes from Villaverde to Legazpi.

As for the Cercanías, users can access via line C3 (with a stop at San Cristóbal Industrial), and C4 and C5 (with a stop at Villaverde Alto), with operating hours from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Likewise, there will be various taxi and VTC rank points in the vicinity of the festival. EFE
