This is the cake that will add a sweet touch to the 2024 Goya Awards in Valladolid

The great festival of Spanish cinema is approaching. This Saturday, the Valladolid Fair hosts the 38th edition of the Goya Awards, of which we already know almost all the details. The actress Ana Belén and the directors Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi will be the presenters of a gala that will be entertained by Amaia, David Bisbal or Estopa, among other artists. We know who the nominees are, we have the winner of the international Goya... Everything except one thing: what is the dessert that the guests at the celebration will eat?

Well, surely many of the stars of the national cinema scene will be lucky enough to taste the Goya Cake created by the Provincial Association of Confectionery Entrepreneurs of Valladolid. It is a thyme-scented sponge cake with a soft Entrepinares cheese mousse and natural honey from the Montes Torozos on the top layer. This dessert stands out for its creaminess, natural sweetness and the use of local ingredients of the highest quality - such as fresh cream and Gaza milk - which enhances the contrast of flavors and textures.

The Goya Cake uses in its preparation some of the colors present each year at the awards ceremony, such as the gold that honey gives it. As a final touch, this cake is crowned with a careful selection of Pedrajas de San Esteban pine nuts, which give it a crunchy texture, as well as a chocolate bar with the original Goya Awards logo. A tribute to celebrate the link between cinema and gastronomy, in which 14 artisan pastry chefs from Valladolid have contributed.

If you think that you too won't be able to resist the exquisite flavor of this sweet Goya, hurry up! The Goya Cake will be sold until Sunday, February 11, in the following establishments of the Provincial Association of Confectionery Entrepreneurs of Valladolid:
