The 47th edition of the Barcelona Grec Festival will have a double opening, both with the circus as the protagonist. On June 29 The Pulse, by Gravity

This edition is based on the idea of ​​community, with a program that reflects on how group awareness enriches individual qualities. In this choral Grec, the union of multiple voices and the collaboration of various entities of the city make unique projects possible.

Barcelona will live its summer festival for five weeks, from June 29 to July 30. After going around the world for four years, and focusing on Europe in the last edition, in this edition the festival "values ​​the idea of ​​connection and commitment to the creation of synergies between various scenic disciplines".

Ivo van Hove, Sasha Waltz, Dimitris Papaioannou or Robert Wilson are some of the international names and unmissable proposals of this edition. Likewise, the festival programs unique shows in places such as the Hospital de Sant Pau, the Dipòsit del Rei Martí or La Model.

Barcelona and Catalan talent, in collaboration with public and private entities, will be represented by artists such as Aina Alegre, Eu Manzanares, Carlota Subirós or Sergi Belbel, and companies such as Agrupación Señor Serrano, La Veronal or La Conquesta del Pol Sud.

The extensive international programming addresses global concerns, such as nature conservation, women's voices, the consequences of wars, the importance of making people at risk of social exclusion visible or the growing presence of artificial intelligence.

This edition offers 88 proposals, of which in 55% of the cases there is a presence of women as authors or directors. By genre, the program contains 32 plays, 15 music, 14 hybrid scenes, 13 dance, 12 circus (twice as many as in previous editions) and 2 movies.
