The emotional story of a stray dog that chased a tourist for hours: "We couldn't leave him"

A video published by the X account (formerly Twitter) for animal lovers, @dodo, has gone viral after showing a very tender scene, in which a tourist gives a stray dog a second chance.

Krista was traveling through Bolivia with some friends when they saw Chase, a dog wandering down the street. Given his vulnerable situation, the American decided to put him in her vehicle and take him on an excursion around the country, thus becoming her faithful companion.

"I was traveling with some friends in Bolivia when a stray dog started following us. We were going to leave Bolivia in a couple of weeks, but when we left by car it wouldn't stop chasing us," says Krista, who became attached to the dog.

"We didn't know what we would do with him in the long term, but we had to try," says the young woman, who when the time came, found a dog rescue center where she could leave him while she took care of the paperwork for the adoption. Seven months later, the young girl returned to Bolivia to pick up little Chase and take him to her new home.

In a matter of days, the video has gone viral, accumulating more than 250 thousand views and all kinds of reactions from users who have been captivated by the scene: "He knew the moment he met her that she was his person ♥️♥️

" or "They say that many times a dog chooses its owner... Beautiful.. ????" have been some of the most popular comments.

It is not the first time that a stray animal conquers Internet users. A few months ago, an abandoned dog went viral after visiting the same fast food restaurant every night to eat, becoming friends with her employees.
