Not everyone treats their furry friends as they deserve. Some do not even have basic care: food and water. That is the case of a German shepherd who was left locked up on a small balcony for several days. The dog had few options to obtain food on its own. But, luckily, the neighbors came to help him.
According to a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), the animal waits patiently outside the house. He stands in front of the door, waiting for his human friend to arrive and open the door for him.
However, the hours pass and no one comes. Given the abandonment of the furry animal, the residents of the block organize a kind of "rescue operation."
Neighbors cannot enter the house. They do not have keys nor can they jump from one balcony to another because it is very far away, so they choose to set up a curious mechanism: they tie a couple of containers to a rope and lower and raise them.
One with water and the other with food to feed the furry one, who finishes them off in a matter of minutes. The animal did not expect to eat a bite and ends the day in the best way, because there is no way for the human friend to appear.
The video has generated all kinds of reactions. "Why leave your dog at home for a long time so that he dies of hunger? The owner doesn't deserve that dog," criticizes one. "The dog probably thinks that he now has a whole team of handlers," adds another.
Other users praise the neighbors' initiative: "It's always good to know that there are people who are willing to step forward and take care of an animal in need. The neighbors noticed that the dog's owner had not been home for a while and decided "to make sure the puppy received the care and attention it deserved."
