Police dog Bosco looks for a home after retiring

The National Police has appealed for a family to adopt Bosco, a police dog that has recently retired and needs a new home.

The four-legged hero was born in 2015 and is a Belgian Malinois, especially obedient and commonly recruited for police and security work.

His job in the police force was as a canine guide and he has managed to achieve several feats and achievements that have earned him a well-deserved rest.

However, although his performance has been excellent as a police dog, the eight years of service have also made him want to spend a time of his life in pure leisure and without having to work.

José Manuel, his trainer in the National Police, taught him from a very young age to detect and track explosives, acting in important missions of the force.

Beyond his discipline and obedience, Bosco is a very affectionate and pleasant dog with people, which has earned him the appreciation of his fellow police officers.
