It is not enough for Mark Zuckerberg to direct Meta, one of the most powerful business conglomerates in the world, which encompasses social networks such as Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, in addition to other projects such as Quest, Messenger or Horizon.
Now, the American businessman has decided to promote another project related to livestock farming and which consists of "creating one of the highest quality beef in the world", whose cattle are only fed macadamia nuts and beer.
As confirmed through Instagram, this new activity will take place in the nearly 44 hectares that he owns on the island of Kauai (Hawaii), an area that he nicknamed Ko'olau Ranch.
"The cattle are Wagyu and Angus, and they will grow up eating macadamia and drinking beer that we grow and produce here on the ranch. We want the whole process to be local and vertically integrated," Zuckerberg explains.
In this new challenge, he has the help of his daughters, who "help him plant the macadamia nuts and take care of our different animals." According to her calculations, each cow eats between 5,000 and 10,000 pounds of food each year, just over 4.5000 kilos, if the highest amount is taken as a reference.
Zuckerberg is sure that the result will not disappoint. "We're still at the beginning of the journey and it's fun to improve it every season. Of all my projects, this is the most delicious," he closes.
