Mad Cool 2023: ticket prices, poster and festival hours in Madrid

Three days of music, eight stages, 101 bands and 185,000 square meters dedicated to music. This is the list of ingredients on which the sixth edition of Mad Cool will revolve from this Thursday, July 5, with which the festival not only guarantees the Spanish reign for another year but also opposes doing it at a European level.

The artist panel consists of such relevant and eclectic names as The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lizzo, Queens of the Stone Age, Sam Smith, The 1975, Nova Twins, Robbie Williams, Lil Nas X, Franz Ferdinand, Tash Sultana , Paolo Nutini, Rina Sawayama, Jamie XX or Machine Gun Kelly. And the organization has already confirmed the schedules of all of them and that you can check here.

A powerful offer for which there are no more three-day passes -both the normal ones and the VIP ones have sold out- so the only options for those furthest behind are day tickets. The normal one -€85 distribution costs and the VIP at €185 distribution costs- available through the festival's own website.

Thursday's day features Robbie Williams, Lizzo, Lil Nas X and Machine Gun Kelly as headliners, although the bill also includes the Californian band The Offspring, who, in their 39-year career, have gone from being labeled as innovators from punk in its beginnings, to that of legends of the genre with more than 50 million records sold.

The British Robbie Williams will arrive in Madrid after touring half of Europe with a tour that began in Spain last March at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, where he performed two concerts that did not leave his parishioners indifferent and in which he displayed good part of the great successes accumulated after a quarter century of solo career.

On Friday the spotlight will turn to Queens of the stone age, the black keys, Sam Smith... and Mumford

The Americans Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, The Black Keys, will be another of the stars on Friday. After several forays into different styles, his latest garage rock-style compositions have been founded on dry drums with a lot of punch, sharp riffs and bridges for all audiences. A winning combination as evidenced by its headlining category.

With Red Hot Chili Pepers, Liam Gallagher and The Prodigy as the initial claim, the list of concerts for Saturday is completed by M.I.A with its eclectic and avant-garde musical style. A representative of contemporary pop culture, the British artist arrived with the force of a tsunami in 2007. Rolling Stone and NME named KALA one of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time," while Spin listed it among "The Top 300 best albums of the last 30 years. With a sweeping career marked by his generational anthems 'Paper Planes' and 'Bad Girls', he has not stopped sounding everywhere and sneaking into the most important lists around the world.

The Californian Red Hot Chili Peppers will put the final touch on the festival with one of the last performances of the night that will make the staff dance with their funky rock style sublimated in this 2023 with the return of guitarist John Frusciante to the band. Along with Anthony, Flea and Chad will celebrate their 40-year career on the main stage of Mad Cool Festival with a show full of groove.

His always unclassifiable style is based on the mixture of traditional funk with rock. Although it also merges with other more remote styles such as rap, punk or indie, resulting in an explosive band that, since 2011, enjoys a special corner in the Rock Hall of Fame.

The national point will come from the hand of Morgan. A group that perfectly combines the most frenetic folk-rock with funk, gospel and the most classic soul. Exquisite themes painted with his unique voice, performed live by a band polished to the millimeter, transmitting class, taste and beauty. We can also enjoy other names already relevant on the national scene such as Dora, Walls, Sila Lua, Ghouljaboy, Petti or Ralphie Choo among others.

The offer is completed with the winners of the first edition of Mad Cool DJ Talent by Vibra Mahou thanks to which they managed, after passing all the phases of the contest, to be part of the most clubbing essence of the festival: Víctor Carré b2b Body-O, Loopi .ta, Armis, Mobox, Álvaro Valero, Miss Deep'in, Chalkyninenine, DJ Trapella, L.A.S DJs.
