Álvaro de Luna and Marlon, Taburete and Luz Casal among the first confirmed for Occident Summerfest 2024

At the doors of the cold, some are already thinking about summer, like the Occident Summerfest festival, which has already announced the first names on the lineup: Álvaro de Luna y Marlon, The Tyets, Luz Casal, Joan Dausà and Taburete, the pop rock band Spanish that has already passed triumphantly in its first two editions, are the first confirmed artists of the festival that has established itself as a cultural reference in Cerdanya.

And the inauguration will be a big experience, since the Sevillian Álvaro de Luna and the Asturian band Marlon will be in charge of starting the festival, which will liven up the summer afternoons among the mountains of Cerdanya from next August 17. Luna and Marlon are coming at a good time: their song Olvidé vivirte was recently nominated for the best collaboration award at the Los40 Music Awards.

Another confirmed name is from Madrid's Taburete, who have already attended the festival in the two previous editions with sold out. This time, the pop rock band will present their new album, for which a new successful passage through Cerdanya is expected.

The Tyets will arrive from Mataró on August 20, who will continue presenting on their endless tour Èpic Solete, their second album. Luz Casal is for now the only woman among the confirmed artists, Luz Casal, who continues her extensive career adding hits such as her latest album, the recent Las windows de mi alma. The last of those confirmed - for now - is Joan Dausà, who with songs like Jo Mai Mai, Tot anirà bé and Judit will celebrate his ten years on stage in Puigcerdà.

Since music isn't always everything, the festival will incorporate a Village with activities for attendees of all ages and food stalls. Tickets for the festival, which will take place next August, will be available from December 4, to have everything ready for the opening on August 17.
