French chef Yannick Alléno promotes an action to honor the families of accident victims

The renowned French chef Yannick Alléno, awarded more than 12 Michelin stars throughout his career, has announced that he will promote the 'Alive' action to honor the families of accident victims.

Two years ago, Alléno lost his son Antoine, also a cook, who died after being run over in the 7th arrondissement by the driver of a vehicle that had just been stolen.

Through the foundation that bears his name, the Parisian chef has joined the artist JR's 'Inside Out' initiative, which promotes the creation of art projects with social purposes.

On a special day, almost 3,000 family portraits will be displayed along the Alma Bridge in Paris, and will serve as a memorial for all the people who have lost a loved one. The essential objective of this initiative is to make visible the need for the victims' families to find support and relief.

The chef behind the kitchens of the Ledoyen's Pavilion in Paris founded the Antoine Alléno association to prevent acts of violence against young people and help the families of victims under 25 years of age.
