Three days after the sixth edition of Mad Cool begins, its attendees already have little room for improvisation, although the change of location for this 2023 keeps many questions open even for the most faithful of the Madrid festival.

Madrid, June 26 (EFE) , on Laguna Dalga street; for which the Metro and bus service will be reinforced and expanded, while taxi and VTC points will be offered.

Where is Mad Cool celebrated? The festival, which in just five editions has become an essential summer event, will be held from July 6 to 8 at the so-called New Madrid festival site located in the Marconi neighborhood, in the Madrid district of Villaverde.

The specific location of the enclosure is Laguna Dalga street with Real de Pinto avenue. It will have 185,000 square meters, where eight stages will be displayed.

This project was born together with the Madrid City Council "with the aim of joining forces and working on the creation of a new meeting point, a cultural, social and transformation space for the city"·.

What artists participate? Mad Cool Festival 2023 will be made up of 101 bands, with names as relevant as The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lizzo, Mumford and Sons, Queens of the Stone Age, Ava Max, Sam Smith, The 1975, Nova Twins, Robbie Williams , Lil Nas X, Kaleo, Morgan, Franz Ferdinand, Tash Sultana, Paolo Nutini, Rina Sawayama, Jamie XX, Primal Scream, Machine Gun Kelly, among others.

New location. This is the first time that Mad Cool will take place in Villaverde, on land that aims to consolidate itself as "the new Madrid festival site", through a project promoted by the festival itself and the Madrid City Council, to "join forces and work on the creation" of a new meeting point, which is "a cultural, social and transformation space for the city".

To reduce traffic jams and parking problems, they recommend using public transport, for which special schedules have been established, such as the opening of Metro line 3 until 4:00 in the morning, and extensions on various public transport lines to Facilitate arrival and departure from the venue.

On the other hand, those who go by bus can use the daytime lines 22 (from Legazpi to Villaverde, from 5:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.), 79 (with the same route from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.), N14 (from Cibeles to Villaverde Alto, from 11:40 p.m. to 5:50 a.m.), and the 428 (from Getafe to Valdemoro, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.).

They can also opt for the T41 line, which will connect Villaverde Alto with the La Resina Industrial Estate, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

On the other hand, there will be a free shuttle bus service to return from the festival, available from 1:00 a.m. to 3:30 a.m., with a route that goes from Villaverde to Legazpi.

As for the Cercanías, users can access via line C3 (with a stop at San Cristóbal Industrial), and C4 and C5 (with a stop at Villaverde Alto), with operating hours from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Likewise, there will be various taxi and VTC rank points in the vicinity of the festival.
