Throughout our lives we have been instilled in the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle: eating a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables, exercising regularly, sleeping eight hours a day, and enjoying good physical and mental health. Over the years, these premises become —even if possible— more essential. When we turn 65, professionals recommend that we take more care of our diet and seek a nutritional balance. Not surprisingly, the World Health Organization (WHO) confirms that "following a balanced diet" contributes to "improve physical and mental capacity".
