The success of the musical collaboration between Shakira and the Argentine producer Bizarrap has been resounding. Almost two months after its release, the dart that the Colombian singer threw at her ex-partner, Gerard Piqué, continues to be a trend: the song accumulates more than 360 million views on Spotify and the YouTube video clip 370 million views.

Chupa Chups, Nesquik or Estrella Galicia also took advantage of the shot to promote themselves on social networks, and now a wine company from Castilla y León is doing the same, which has just created a selection of low-end bottles inspired by this hit.

There are four wines in total, explains the manager of Vino de Ángeles, Ángel Garrote, and their names coincide with some parts of Shakira's song. 'Para tipos como tú' is a DO Ribera del Duero made with Tempranillo and a base of old vines that has spent four months in American and French oak barrels.

"Because of what we've called it, it may seem like a rough wine, but it's elegant and modern," says Garrote. "With Nazarene edges and a cherry red central layer, its tannins are sweet and red fruit such as raspberry or blackberry abounds. The palate is unctuous and the finish tasty", adds this agricultural engineer and oenologist, who recommends pairing it with meat, foie , sausages and classic tapas.

'A she-wolf like me is not for newbies' is a DO Cigales rosé, a claret of a lifetime. "It combines red and white grapes, it is raspberry red in color with violet flashes and on the nose it presents aromas of strawberry and jam," Garrote tells Comer. "It is fresh, with sweet sensations, very appetizing and with a sweet tooth, reminiscent of the strawberry gum of yesteryear. This bottle is aimed at women who have had a bad drink in their lives." Tapas and light meals, she points out, are the best accompaniment.

Another of the wines offered by this company from Valladolid is 'Clara-mente', a DO Rueda 100% Verdejo "clean, bright and clear, straw yellow in color with steely and golden iridescences. It is sweet and full on the palate. And, very aromatic on the nose, with green fruit like apples or pears and slight hints of citrus", notes the winemaker. Like the previous one, it can accompany appetizers, like pasta, shellfish and fish.

To finish, they have baptized a partially fermented must as 'Women no longer cry, women bill'. This wine is made with Verdejo grapes from Toro. It is straw yellow with yellow-green flashes and, on the nose, it presents aromas of exotic fruit, menthol, notes of peach and some hints of green fruit. "On the palate it is very tasty and sweet, easy to drink. With this wine, it is aimed at empowered women and defends their important role in society," Garrote clarifies.

This new range of Vino de Ángeles bottles wants to reach younger and more modern audiences, "in addition to making our customers smile". Another of Garrote's objectives, which in addition to producing wine advises different wineries in Castilla y León, is "to exalt the wines of this autonomous community, which has Denominations of Origin such as Ribera de Duero, Cigales, Rueda, Toro, La Mancha or Rioja", he concludes.
