Celebrities, gourmet tapas and Brad Pitt's pink champagne at the official party of the Oscars 2023

Seeing Cate Blanchett, Steven Spielberg, Ana de Armas or Colin Farrell together in the same room, dancing, laughing and having fun without filming a movie, will be possible on Oscar night, after the Academy Awards ceremony for the Arts and Cinematographic Sciences that will take place on March 12 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. A building with a capacity to accommodate 3,400 spectators distributed over three floors, with a stage 34 meters wide by 18 meters long, equipped with the most modern technology to create a great visual spectacle.

The red carpet will be filled with movie stars and celebrities for the most famous movie night of all time. Dior, Chanel, Gucci suits, tuxedos, transparencies, heels, impossible makeup... a lot of glamor and posturing to attend the gala. Nobody wants to miss the appointment.

But the most interesting thing happens immediately after the ceremony, on the fifth floor of the Ray Dolby Ballroom, where the official party takes place in which only 1,500 guests will be able to attend the so-called Governors Ball. Among the VIPs will be the winners, nominees and presenters of the awards. And that is where all the winners must pass, since it is the place where their name will finally be engraved on the desired statuettes. Those who have not won will be able to win a chocolate statuette dipped in gold leaf as a consolation prize.

Every year the room is transformed to host a large cocktail-type banquet of exquisite food and drink, and once again, Wolfgang Puck Catering, headed by chef Wolfgang Puck, will create the menu that will be served during the party, this year together with chef British Elliot Grove, so the dishes will have an English touch, such as the version he will prepare of the iconic Sirloin Wellington or a fish and chip for gourmets. The desserts will be designed by Kamel Guechida and Garry Larduinat.

A menu made up of more than 40 small plates that will allow guests to try many delicious creations. Among its classics are the cornbread with smoked salmon in the shape of an Oscar statuette, the wagyu beef slider with brioche bun, the black truffle macaroni and cheese and the wood-fired pizzas. There will also be vegan dishes like caramel chili flavored popcorn and braised mushroom tartare.

And as usual, two new recipes are added to the list, in this case an Asian-style fried chicken glazed with crispy tamarind and coconut pandan leaf waffles, and a Ma Maison chicken salad served on an endive leaf. In the dessert section, guests will be able to taste a chestnut pie and a whoopie pie, a typical American dessert filled with butter cream or cheese frosting between two sponge cake tops, among others.

And to quench your thirst, nothing better than a delicious glass of rosé champagne, in this case Champagne Fleur de Miraval, a collaborative project between Brad Pitt, owner of Château Miraval in Provence, the Perrin family and the Péters family. In addition to the exclusive Clarendelle, Quintus and Haut-Brion wines from the Domaine Clarence Dillon winery in Bordeaux, whose president is Prince Robert of Luxembourg. In the case of Clarendelle, it has already appeared in some of the scenes of the Emily in Paris series.

And as the icing on the cake, mixologist Charles Joly, one of the best in the world, will make a selection of special cocktails with Tequila Don Julio, and there will be special performances such as Cynthia Erivo, actress, singer-songwriter, and dj Moss and Kiss that will make the whole world dance on the dance floor.
