The presence of Bruce Springsteen and his gang in Barcelona has turned the Catalan capital upside down. The American artist kicked off his European tour this Friday at the Estadi Olímpic Lluis Companys, where he will perform again this Sunday. The group has been seen in some of the most touristy locations in the city, and also in restaurants, as has been the case of drummer Max Weinberg, who has visited the Botafumeiro Restaurant, one of the most renowned in Barcelona. The restaurant's director, Jesús Pérez, has shared a video on social networks with the renowned artist.
The truth is that the presence of Springsteen and his band has not been the only one that has created great expectations in the last few hours in Barcelona. Barack Obama, former president of the United States, and his wife, Michelle Obama, also traveled to Barcelona. On the other hand, film director Steven Spielberg also spent a few days in the Catalan capital with his wife, actress Kate Capshaw. All of them have been able to enjoy the art and culture of the city, and also attended the artist's concert at the Estadi Olímpic.
The Springsteen gang has also enjoyed gastronomy in Barcelona. In the last few hours, Jesús Pérez, director of the Botafumeiro Restaurant, has shared a video in which Max Weinberg, Bruce's drummer, can be seen enjoying the local desserts. "We are at the Botafumeiro with Max Weinberg, after the concert with our desserts", explains the director, while he shows a table full of desserts. "The best drummer in the world", says Pérez.
