The veterinarian and content creator on TikTok @maríavetican has launched a notice to all dog owners in the world: "I want to let you know so that this never happens to anyone else," says the influencer.
"You have to be very careful with the bags of feed, and I'm not referring to the food itself," the veterinarian begins, explaining that she advises against buying small bags, or opening them with a small side cut. Here we tell you why.
"It may seem silly to you, but if I tell you about this, it's because it has happened," says María, before sharing this fearsome situation with her followers. The veterinarian explains that if our pet has access to feed through that small opening, she could stick her head in to eat without our supervision.
Likewise, if this opening is small, our dog could have problems removing it, dying instantly after lack of oxygen.
"Ideally, your dog should not have access to the feed bag at any time, and if a mistake could happen, the opening should be large enough so that your dog can easily put its head in and out." advises the tiktoker.
