A customer returns an Iberian ham claiming that it is rancid and the seller's response makes him look ridiculous

In the gastronomic world, acorn-fed Iberian ham stands as a culinary gem, but experiences with this delicacy do not always turn out as expected. A recent anecdote starring a customer and a seller has caused a sensation on social networks, showing that, sometimes, the quality of the product is not the only factor at play.

The story takes place in a company that has gained prominence thanks to the TikTok account @ibericoselecto. A customer, dissatisfied with his purchase, returned an acorn-fed Iberian ham claiming that it was "rancid" and of "poor quality." The seller's surprise was monumental when he discovered that the customer, in his culinary confusion, had begun to cut and eat the least appetizing part of the ham.

The businessman shared the anecdote through a video that went viral on social networks. "Today a client came to me with the ham, saying that this is rancid, that this cannot be eaten, that this ham is of poor quality, that he had never tasted a ham like it," he said.

"It has been eating the rancid, the yellow leather, the bark, that is what has been eaten. And of course, this is not eaten. You have to clean it," he said. "An acorn-fed ham thinking you're eating the rind. Good God, really," she added with humor.

The video has become a viral phenomenon, accumulating more than a thousand comments and exceeding 450,000 views in just five days. Some users compared the situation to people eating snails in their shells, while others suggested that the customer was confused into believing that he was in front of a Casar cake.

"That customer is the typical one who eats the snails in the shell and calls the waiter to tell him that they are hard," they said. "That guy hasn't cut a ham in his life," added another Internet user.
