Born in Madrid in 1996, she is the daughter of Lucas Urquijo Fernández de Araoz and Beatriz Moreno y de Borbón, which makes her directly related to the Spanish royal house. On her mother's side, she is the granddaughter of Teresa de Borbón Dos Sicilias y Borbón Parma, who in turn is the cousin of Juan Carlos I. The relationship between Almeida and Urquijo was discovered to the public in June 2023, during the Press Run at the San Isidro Fair in Las Ventas. The first aspect highlighted by the media was the age difference that both had: 22 years, but that did not represent any inconvenience for love to arise. The connection began in February of that same year, and was kept secret during the following months.
