To clean the sofa of any stains or general dirt, leaving it spotless and with a pleasant smell, you only need a bowl of hot water, a bar of laundry soap, a cloth and the lid of a pot. Place the bar of soap in a container and pour plenty of hot water so that it dissolves. Next, moisten a clean cloth in the mixture and wrap it around the lid of a saucepan, tying it around the handle of it. It is advisable that you wear gloves, so as not to damage your hands with the chemicals.

Next, you will only have to rub the entire sofa insistently with the help of the pot lid, which will serve to exert greater pressure and cover more surface area, saving you time and effort compared to doing it directly with a sponge or cloth. Make sure to rinse the cloth and dip it back into the soap and water mixture as you rub. Finally, let the sofa air dry before sitting on it again.
