First Dates has reopened the doors of its restaurant to welcome single men and women who come to live a unique experience. In the week of its seventh anniversary we have been able to see some very peculiar appointments, in some love can arise but in others only a beautiful friendship. As has happened to Monica and Miguel Ángel.
Monica is 49 years old and comes from Madrid. She is a businesswoman, journalist and actress. ''The world is not made for cowards,'' she said. The single woman told that she does 250 voices, since she is very good at imitating. Monica said that even in the papers she says that she is married but she is single.
Miguel Ángel is a 49-year-old lawyer from Palma de Mallorca. He wants something that is hard for him to get. Monica said that she was a little nervous. The bachelor had not been in a relationship for a long time, something that has shocked Monica a lot.
Monica was unable to find out what Michelangelo's profession was. He told her that he was a lawyer. '' Hotel entertainer in Majorca when I saw him and when he told me 'what do you think he does for me?' The last thing I thought about is a lawyer, the lawyer you have hanging there,'' declared the single woman. ''Have you asked him for his title to know if he is a real lawyer?'', she affirmed. Instead, Miguel Ángel guessed one of the professions of the spinster.
Mónico would suddenly ask him about the rings he was wearing and when he saw his hand, he would make a peculiar comment. ''You could have cut your nails to come to First Dates a bit,'' he commented. The bachelor told her that she was too nervous to do that. ''I'm kidding, it's for humor,'' she told him. ''I don't know if it came from digging somewhere,'' she declared.
Monica doesn't like tattoos. ''Ferrari don't put stickers on and not everyone is ready to drive a Ferrari,'' she said. ''You have good outings, eh,'' he told her. The single girl surprised her date again when she told him that she also plays the piano. On the other hand, he explained that he plays the bass drum at Easter. ''We don't communicate either because we say it in his language,'' the single woman confessed.
She wants a man who is very active, fun and will follow her wherever she goes. ''There are two things about you that I don't like, that you have light eyes and your name,'' she explained to him. Miguel Ángel was fascinated with her. ''She seduces her with her gestures, with her words, with her poses,'' he said. In the final decision Miguel Ángel has not doubted it and his answer has been affirmative. But Monica has lacked the spark of love.
