The mythical 'Corazón partío' by Alejandro Sanz could have been from Camela: "They told us so"

There are few artists in our country as recognized as Alejandro Sanz. The interpreter of songs like My Martian or And, if it were her? in one of our most international singers, as well as one of the most successful. Sanz has sold more than 25 million records worldwide and has won 24 Latin Grammys, as well as 4 American ones. One of his most recognized songs is Corazón Partío, and thanks to an interview by Jordi Évole with Camela, we now know that this song could have been performed by the Madrid group.

Like every Sunday, the Catalan journalist reappears on his program, Lo de Évole, with a new interview. After chatting with other artists, such as C.Tangana or Estopa, Évole receives the duo Camela in his space. Some clips of what the program will be will have already come to light in the last few hours through social networks. In one of them, you can see Dionisio Martín and María de los Ángeles Muñoz opening up about one of Alejandro Sanz's most legendary songs: Corazón partío. The duo revealed that this song could actually have been for them.

"Is it true that Corazón Partío was a song for you?" Évole begins by saying in a clip shared on his social networks. "Yes, Alejandro said it in an interview. In fact, they told us before, that when he made that song, he thought of Camela," said María de los Ángeles. "The truth is, it's a great song," said the artist.

It was then that the journalist asked the duo how the song performed by them would turn out. Camela got down to work and performed the legendary chorus of the song, which has given Alejandro Sanz so much joy. In the end, Jordi said "I think you should do it." "Someday, who knows," the artists responded, while speculating that Sanz could make time in his busy schedule to record the song with them.

Camela is the second Spanish group with the most sales in the last three decades, being surpassed only by La Oreja de van Gogh. Initially, the group was three, but keyboardist and composer Miguel Ángel Cabrera left the project in 2013. Camela is considered the promoter of the style baptized in the 1990s as tecno-rumba. Without a doubt, it is one of the most successful and relevant groups in the history of our country.
