The 'El Desafío' jury is angry at the favorable treatment towards Pablo Castellano: "It's not something we liked"

Pablo Castellano once again immersed himself in the apnea test at El Desafío and this time he managed to impress the jury. The architect achieved an impressive mark of 3 minutes and 55 seconds, surpassing his previous attempt to set a new personal record.

María Pombo's husband, who had encountered difficulties on his first attempt due to illness, made the most of his second opportunity underwater. "It was worth trying again," said Roberto Leal, highlighting Castellano's spirit of improvement.

This achievement was the result of an exceptional opportunity that the direction of the program gave him, allowing him to repeat the test, a decision that generated division among the judges. Santiago Segura, one of the jury members, was quick to express his disagreement with the decision: "It's not something we liked." Furthermore, he confessed that no one had asked them for their opinion on the matter.

The comedian believed that this decision could be understood as preferential treatment towards Castellano and raised doubts about equal conditions for all contestants. In fact, other contestants have not had this second chance.

Juan del Val, aware of this injustice, agreed with his partner: "It is true that the possibility that the program gives you to repeat the test is an insult compared to other classmates who have had a test go wrong." But he also wanted to recognize Castellano's bravery for having accepted the challenge once again: "There are more possibilities of looking bad."

Given this, Segura had no choice but to take his hat off to the influencer and congratulate him: "You are a titan, a champion. You have surpassed yourself." Thus, Castellano has managed to win the program for the third time this season.
