The counterpoints of the Catalan catwalk: from Amlul's tailoring to Dominnico's punk

The 080 Barcelona Fashion Week is in its final stretch. Renowned names such as Custo Barcelona, Lebor Gabala, Simorra and Lola Casademunt have walked the Catalan catwalk, but also debutants such as Cherry Massia and Carlota Barrera. The counterpoints, both creative and aesthetic, enrich this catwalk and the proposals presented this Thursday demonstrate it.

There has been no gray scale on the fourth day of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week: from deconstructed patterns to polished silhouettes, from strident colors to a neutral palette and from the renewal of tailoring to Dominnico's craziest punk.

The catwalk has been stretched with the fun Como la Trucha al trout collection. The creatives Amanda and Adonais have taken guests to Palm Springs with a line of bright colors, unexpected volumes and cut out openings and a spectacular bridal dress for brides looking to break away from convention.

The tone relaxed shortly after with Lemanchet, a debut brand in this 32nd edition that tries to redefine men's fashion. His deconstructed tailoring is undoubtedly a breath of fresh air for the sartorial wardrobe, which in this collection dives into genderless fashion.

The Catalan catwalk focuses on local, sustainable and artisan fashion. It is for this reason that the All That She Loves fashion show is, year after year, one of the essential events of the day.

Organic cotton plush, natural dyes and metallic pieces make up a collection called The Lighthouse in which the brand is betting for the first time on a complete line, beyond bathroom pieces, and renews its classics.

Fashion designer Gala González has returned to the Catalan catwalk for the second consecutive year. This time, in addition to her iconic timeless dresses produced locally and sustainably, she presents several new outfits. "We have looked for a silhouette that adapts to the person who wears it because a suit should not pigeonhole you, it should adapt to you and not the other way around," the dressmaker details backstage shortly before going on stage.
