The actors of 'La Promesa', together at the Goya: "I saw it very far away"

Last Saturday night, February 10, Spanish cinema dressed up to celebrate the 38th edition of the Goya Awards. On this occasion, the emblematic awards were held at the Valladolid Fair. There are many outstanding moments that left both the red carpet and the gala, but one of them occurred when the actors of La Promesa met again and spoke to the press, opening up.

From the official account of the Film Academy on Instagram, actor Arturo Sancho and actress Ana Garcés answered some questions, such as whether the Goyas were as they imagined them. "I couldn't tell you, because I haven't imagined it much, since I saw it so far away," he said. "It seems spectacular to me. The people are beautiful, everything is so organized. I would never have imagined so much organization," said the actress.

For both of them, it was the first time they had attended the ceremony, so they were very enthusiastic about the great deployment of resources for one of the most important nights of culture in our country. "I'm amazed, I'm nervous, but I'm excited," said Ana. "Me too, and no, I hadn't imagined that the carpet would be so long. It's long, very very long," said Arturo, for his part, who didn't. It gave credence to how immense the event's red carpet was.

Later, both actors went through the RTVE microphones and answered a question that left no one indifferent. "What title would you give your film?" they asked from RTVE. "The dog in the manger," the actor said, later asking "but to our relationship with the characters or to the series itself?" "I would call it 'What I wanted and didn't have,'" she responded. Both demonstrated, once again, the great relationship they have.

The truth is that both looked spectacular, although if anyone stood out it was Ana. The actress wore an Alicia Rueda dress in nude crepe with black silk organza ruffles and a square neckline, as well as earrings and rings by M de Paulet and shoes by Inés Domecq Shoes. Meanwhile, her partner opted for a total black look from the Sevillian brand Bund, a classic style among the actors who walk the awards red carpet every year.
