Tallulah Willis gives the latest report on her father's health: "I have become an archaeologist of his little world"

Bruce Willis' health continues to decline. His family was aware that his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia was going to become a challenge for the actor, but perhaps they did not want to admit that they were going to go through the entire process at a much faster speed than they would like.

Both his wife, Emma Heming; Like his five daughters and his ex-wife, Demi Moore, they are totally devoted to him and take care of him. On this occasion, his daughter Tallulah was the one who wanted to give the latest report on the actor's health, telling how they are handling this worsening.

The actress gave an interview to Drew Barrymore for her podcast of the same name, in which she admitted that, despite the illness, she was grateful that her father's essence continued to be the same. "I have realized that it is the best we could ask for," she said. "I see love when I'm with him. He's my father and he loves me, which is very special."

The actor's health is getting worse by the minute, but it seems that his wife and daughters admit his situation. For Tallulah, it has come to a point where he has even found a way to feel at peace with everything that is happening. "One part that is being very nice for me to heal from all this is becoming a kind of archaeologist of my father's world, with his little things."

The actor's initial diagnosis was aphasia, which was actually a "symptom" of his real illness, frontotemporal dementia, which damages the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain and causes alterations in thinking and behavior. From what is known, the actor would no longer recognize most of his family members, and he would have serious problems communicating verbally.

A state that the protagonist of Die Hard would realize, sometimes showing even aggressive behavior, due to frustration.

At one point, Barrymore asked the young woman why they were being so open about the actor's illness, instead of keeping this whole matter private. For Tallulah Willis, the question has a simple answer: it is a matter of normalizing the situation not only for them, but for everyone who is going through the same thing.

"If we can take something out of what we are going through as a family so that it can help other people, to turn it around and make something beautiful, it becomes something special," he says. The young woman insists that talking about this type of illness should not be a taboo, not for those who suffer from them, but not for her family members, who also suffer with them.
