Soraya Arnelas has not been having a good time these last few weeks. The singer, who passed through the altar last year along with the death of her Miguel Ángel Herrera, revealed a few days ago that she has lost the baby they were expecting. Through an open letter on her Instagram account, the Spanish representative at Eurovision 2009 revealed, along with her husband, what "unfortunately" happened. Likewise, she made it very clear that she shared it "because of the love and respect" that they say they receive every day from those who follow in her footsteps.
"We really wanted to be able to be a large family, but sometimes the plans are not in one's hands," said Arnelas. Even so, they assured that they are grateful "for having two wonderful and healthy daughters." And they are the ones who are providing the greatest and best support that the couple can receive at this time.
But this hard blow has not made him lose hope of increasing his family, and he said that they are excited and that they will do it "calmly." But, without a doubt, one of her most emotional moments was the drawing that little Manuela, the singer's eldest daughter, drew of the deceased baby in the sky, among clouds and birds.
Less than a week later, Soraya Arnelas has reappeared on her social networks to thank everyone who is sending her messages of love. As she has expressed, both she and her husband are receiving numerous messages from people who have gone through a similar situation: "Unfortunately, this happens a lot more than people think."
In this new writing he points out that these topics are not usually talked about because it is "very private and very painful", but that it is good to communicate it because "it speeds up the healing process." And it seems that discussing what happened with women who have gone through her situation is helping her to overcome it "little by little."
At the same time, she has announced that she is focusing on her professional career: "These days I am very active working on new songs and new compositions." And, despite the fact that at first her tour was not going to take place, it seems that everything has taken a 180 degree turn and she is facing it with great "eagerness."
"I want to thank all the people who stop us on the street to send us messages of encouragement, do not bother us, we are very pleased that you feel like we were your family and we appreciate the affection with which you always treat my daughters, my husband and me," she added.
