Shakira and the "dear ex-mother-in-law": the image of the reunion with Antonio de la Rúa's mother

The relationship between Shakira and Gerard Piqué has been one of the most stormy in memory in the world of celebrities and hearts in recent years. What seemed like an idyllic romance turned into a nightmare after her separation, giving the Colombian even more popularity thanks to the multiple barbs she sent to the former Barça footballer in her songs. One of the many messages was addressed directly to the Catalan's mother.

"You left me as a neighbor to your mother-in-law" said the lyrics of the 'Session

“With our beloved ex-mother-in-law,” Shakira wrote on the social network, a gesture that many users have interpreted as a new attack on the president of the Kings League and his family. For her part, the international artist was able to catch up with Pertiné, with whom she has maintained little contact since her relationship with de la Rúa ended in 2011. Likewise, it was a triple connection as Gabriela had been with Aitor at the time, Antonio's brother.

The relationship between the Colombian and the Argentine lawyer came to an end relatively amicably, as she commented in a statement: “Antonio remains attentive to business and the interests of my career as he has always done. We move forward as partners, working hand in hand and in close communication. “Our friendship and understanding is unbreakable and indestructible.” However, the situation soon became muddy.

And in November 2012, de la Rúa took her to court to request an amount of 77 million euros. In his own words, the lawyer would have “contributed to his musical success internationally,” which is why he was demanding compensation. However, the court ruling was in favor of the Colombian, leaving the Argentine without the desired amount and, currently, living a quiet life away from the hustle and bustle.

Regarding Shakira and Piqué, the former couple has had to collaborate together to stop a man who harassed her, in particular to safeguard their children. Álex Rodríguez said in Let's see that the problem, even if the harasser is in jail, is going to last a long time: “The problem is not over, because he is in jail but the trial has not yet been held and he has a bail of 150,000 euros of which you only have to pay 10 percent.”
