Sara Sálamo combines an elegant Pedro del Hierro dress with white Converse at the Goya 2024

Sara Sálamo is one of the most activist Spanish actresses on the national scene, and she has demonstrated this on several occasions. It was at the last edition of the Goya Awards, the 37th, when she appeared on the red carpet without a hint of makeup, completely natural, vindicating the comfort of women with themselves. Something similar has happened in this new edition of the awards, this one in 2024, when she has put aside the uncomfortable heels to wear white converse on the red carpet under her elegant dress.

This Saturday night, Spanish cinema dresses up for the celebration of the 38th edition of the Goya Awards. On this occasion, they are held at the Valladolid Fair. The red carpet has brought together a large number of recognized faces, one of them, the actress Sara Sálamo. In the photocall, she has shown that she has wanted to continue with that trend that began in 2023 and with which she is willing to break the socially established rules for this type of events.

As we said, the Canarian has put aside the uncomfortable heels to wear comfortable white Converse sneakers on the awards red carpet, which she has combined with a beautiful yellow dress that has captured everyone's attention. Her stylist has been Cindy Figueroa. For this occasion, she has chosen a Pedro Del Hierro design with a strapless neckline and a corseted body. If something stands out about the look, it is his large skirt with volume and train created with tulle with a plumeti-type 'flock'.

The piece is part of the 'Delirio Habanero' collection, which the designer presented last September at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. The dress itself did not go unnoticed, but the most notable moment of his time on the red carpet was when he raised his tail and revealed a pair of white Converse boots and platforms. Without a doubt, a risky bet, but with which she once again shows that she is more than determined to break with all the protocols that seem imposed on women in this type of events.

Finally, she completed the look with Bvlgari jewelry. As for the hairstyle, Sálamo chose to wear ultra-smooth long hair parted on one side, the work of Maria Roberts, and she also wore very natural makeup by Pedro Cedeño, following the line of the message she launched in the last edition of the awards. The actress has combined her subtle makeup with a cherry red manicure.

Last year, when asked by the media on the red carpet, the actress explained why she made the decision to attend face wash. "I'm going without makeup, I wanted to make the bet of coming with a washed face to promote naturalness, so that we feel comfortable being ourselves," she said at the time. A line that she has not wanted to stray from this year. And the truth is that she has looked spectacular.
