Russell Crowe rejuvenates with his new look: he shaves the beard he had been wearing for five years

Seeing himself without his thick and lush beard has had to be a real shock for Russell Crowe, but it has been almost more so for his followers, who couldn't believe it when they saw the new image of the Oscar-winning actor after he shared an image of himself on his social networks that did not leave anyone indifferent.

Some followers who unanimously agreed in their opinion: the actor has taken several years off his shoulders with this image change. A new look that also represents a small milestone, since he had not shaved since 2019.

"The actor is preparing number 20. First shave since 2019," writes the protagonist of A Beautiful Mind on X (former Twitter), where he shared his selfie without his now characteristic gray beard. "You look like you're 20 years younger." "It's good to change, he also has a very pretty face hidden behind all that hair," his followers comment.

It is true, because the last time the actor could be seen clean shaven and without his thick beard was during the premiere of Les Misérables, in 2012. In the cinema, many had not seen him like that since A Beautiful Mind.

The actor is preparing, among other roles, to play the American painter Mark Rothko, for which he is forced to show off a face without facial hair. He also needs to look like this to play Hermann Göring, Adolf Hitler's right-hand man in one of his upcoming films, Nuremberg, which will soon begin filming in Hungary.

The performer has been focused on his work for the last four years, but seems ready to return to the big screen in style, with no less than seven projects prepared for the coming months. His next release, Land of Bad with brothers Liam and Luke Hemsworth.
