The Goya Awards represent the culmination of the film year in Spain. There, she dropped some statements about what could be seen behind the cameras that did not leave the presenters indifferent.

The video has more than 38,000 views since it was published on the format's TikTok profile, and has more than 2,100 likes and several notable reactions to what happened. “I belong to the world of 'art' and I attest to it...unfortunately there is a lot of 'freedom' for everything...for the good and the bad," one user assured without any filter, regarding Rocío's fiery statements. “As much as we want to give a lighthearted, alternative tone and designed for a youth audience, we believe that any content that carries the RTVE brand must comply with quality and neutrality standards,” the public entity said in a statement, condemning the facts. However, Sánchez sided with the journalist and defended her position, pointing to her as the “true icon” behind her statements.
