The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most exciting episode. In the latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, the plot becomes even more complicated. Catalina has saved Pelayo from murder, but at the same time she has discovered the truth about her fiancé: she participated in arms trafficking with Mr. Cavendish. This triggers a deep mistrust on the part of Catalina, who is not willing to forgive the deception of her fiancé, who has used her innocence and the jam business as a cover.
On the other hand, Dr. Bueno's revelation about Jimena's false pregnancy and his complicity in maintaining that lie causes shock to the Luján family. Manuel sees this situation as an opportunity to end his marriage to Jimena, while the latter's reputation is severely damaged. Meanwhile, the Duchess of Infantes makes public the surprising similarity between Vera and the daughter of the Dukes of Carril, thus revealing Vera's great secret and triggering new tensions in La Promesa.
