Preview of chapter 269 of 'The Promise': María Fernández about to give up in her personal hell and Vera plays it safe

The Promise has returned another day to the small screen with an episode full of tension. The La 1 Spanish Television series has brought in this latest installment a long-awaited moment after Lope has found Vera fleeing from her father who mistreats her.

The young woman continues to escape from her father and asks Lope for help to stay hidden in the palace in a very complicated situation. Things get complicated there when Cruz organizes, together with Pelayo and Catalina, a tasting of new sauces behind Alonso's back.

On the other hand, the cooks receive with great hope a new clue that would show that María is still alive and close to Luján. Furthermore, the romance between Martina and Curro is increasingly an open secret that could explode at any moment.

In the next episode, María's agony continues, experiencing an ordeal in the middle of the kidnapping, while many in the palace doubt whether they should continue looking for her seeing the failure of the recent raids and despite the fact that new clues continue to arrive.

Lope is still in trouble hiding Vera, who is increasingly curious and shows herself around the palace with an enormous risk of being discovered and finally handed over to her abusive father, so the cook warns her that sooner rather than later another place will have to be found.

Another plot that promises to be explosive will be that of Alonso finding out about the sauce tasting behind his back, which could surprise the staff with an exemplary punishment for all those involved.
