The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most intense episode. In this latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, we have seen how the Marquis has given Rómulo an ultimatum: either he stops working to take care of his health or he fires him as butler of La Promesa.
On the other hand, Valentín, Antoñito's friend, has become part of the palace service, even revealing some secrets about Simona's son.
Cruz has faced a health problem that makes him go to Dr. Bueno. He has recommended to the Marchioness that she lead a more peaceful life, something that will not be easy at all, since Cruz always ends up mired in disputes.
Finally, Manuel has decided to listen to Margarita. The young man wants to turn his relationship with Jimena into nothing more and nothing less than a marriage of appearances, something that Jimena has flatly refused to do.
In the next episode of La 1's star soap opera, Manuel will kick Jimena out of her room, so the young woman will have no choice but to settle in Leonor's empty bedroom. Even so, Jimena will not lose hope of redirecting the situation.
Jana will see how the heir feels overwhelmed by his marriage, so she recommends that he stay away from The Promise until the waters have calmed down. The maid will also try to clear things up with Abel, but the doctor will react in an unexpected way.
On the other hand, Cruz will increase suspicions that Curro, who is happy with Alonso, has discovered that her husband is her father and does not plan to sit idly by. As for the young man, he will discover once and for all the truth about Martina's tiredness, thus becoming an accomplice in her secret.
Finally, tension will increase between the Count of Añil and his new partner, Jerónimo Gamboa. Their discussions in the palace will make Margarita suspect something. Will Cruz's sister-in-law end up discovering their true business? We'll find out in the next episode.
